        Checking In

I got a call from a friend I went to school with in New York and it reminded me to check in with myself. I hadn’t spoken to her in over a year and I’m so glad she called to check up on me. Thanks Michaela!

During this pandemic, I’ve been trying to find ways to make myself feel less anxious and bring some joy into my little bubble.

Yoga in the morning while the pup and bae are still sleeping. Guiding Flow has a great live yoga session most mornings at 8:30 am.

Making spicy margaritas and perfecting my bartending skills.

Korean BBQ at home. One of my favorite past-times is going to KBBQ with friends so I bought an inexpensive grill pan and all of my favorite Korean sides from H-Mart and made a feast.

Redecorating my bedroom. I really needed my bedroom to feel like an oasis right now so I’ve been purchasing the things I need to carve out a little space of my own.

Working. I am so thankful that I can still work. I work remotely so I can continue to do this during the quarantine.

Reading. I ordered Mastery Love for my mom and I. I plan to check in with her every Friday and discuss each chapter.

Going outside for long walks or rollerblading around my neighborhood. I bought rollerblades a while back and never used them!

Updating my website! I plan to post more now that I have extra free time.

Taking the time to create new playlists. I have been listening to more calming music lately and it’s really helped me be more at peace with my surroundings.
